Free Blood Pressure Testing

On May 29th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, a nurse from Geneva General Hospital will visit the library to offer free blood pressure screening in the Reading Room.

Summer Paperback Sale

The Library is now accepting only good condition softcovers for our annual sale, coordinated by the Friends of the Geneva Public Library.

Finger Lakes Bronze

The next Musical Moments recital will take place in the library’s Reading Room on Friday, May      11, beginning at 7:15 p.m.  It will feature Finger Lakes Bronze, a community handbell choir founded in 2000 by Judy Treisback and Marge Fahrenholz.

Summer Reading at Geneva Public Library

In the next few weeks teachers will be bringing their class on a visit to the public library.

April 25: Public Budget Hearing

 The Library will present its proposed 2012-2013 Budget, which includes an increase of 2% in local tax appropriation. The additional $8,961.00 in tax revenue will help the Library offset rising retirement and health care costs as well as significant reductions in state aid in order to maintain the high quality collections, services and programs that the Geneva community currently enjoys.

April 21: Basket Raffle

The Annual Geneva Basket Raffle has over 40 unique baskets on display in the library for adults, teens and children. Raffle tickets can be purchased now and up to the day of Saturday, April 21 when baskets will be raffled off in the Library Community Room intermittently between 10am and 12pm.
