About OWWL

OWWL is the online catalog of the 42 public libraries in Ontario, Wayne, Wyoming, and Livingston counties and includes the collections of Geneva Public Library as well. Anyone with an OWWL library card may borrow from any of these public libraries, including from Geneva.

OWWL2Go is a service provided by the Pioneer Library System and its member libraries for downloadable audio books and ebooks.

Individuals can log on to both the OWWL catalog and OWWL2go by using their library card and PIN number.

Once logged onto the OWWL catalog, individuals can place holds on items that are then sent to a library of the individual's choice as the items become available. Delivery of items usually take no more than 2-3 days. There is no fee for this service.

Once logged on to OWWL2Go, individuals can download audio books and listen to these books on their computers and MP3 players.

OWWL is a cooperative service the envy of many communities in New York State and elsewhere. OWWL has been developed and is maintained by the Pioneer Library System, which is located in Canandaigua, New York. Supported by New York State, its mission includes improving and expanding library service in Ontario, Wayne, Wyoming and Livingston counties by supporting the sharing of library materials.
