Registering for a Library Card

You may register for a library card if you are a resident or own property in the Geneva City School District, Ontario, Wayne, Wyoming, or Livingston County, or if you are a current student at Hobart and William Smith Colleges or Finger Lakes Community College and live in the school district or these counties.

If you do not meet these residency requirements, a card is available for an annual fee of $20.

Children are encouraged to get their own cards. Pre-school and school-age children, up to and including fifth grade, must register at the ground floor desk in the Children's Room for their cards and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with the ID and proof of residency described below.

Adults and teens register for their library cards at the main floor desk.

By registering for a card you agree to to return all items you borrow and observe library policies and rules.
