'Discovering Roots' Genealogy Workshop July 30
A free, one-day genealogy workshop for beginners and people wanting a personal introduction to local resources will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010. The Locke Family Association, the Geneva Historical Society, and the Geneva Public Library are hosting the daylong event at the Library.
Free Workshops for Job Seekers at the Geneva Public Library
The Geneva Public Library is working with the Finger Lakes Community College Bridge Program, which provides job search assistance and job training to those who meet income guidelines, to bring free workshops to local job seekers in April.

Book Discussion Series Begins in February 2010
Beginning in February of 2010, the Library will again host the popular Reading Between the Lines book discussion series. "Immigration and the Idea of America" will be facilitated by Dr. Neeta Bhasin, Assistant Professor in the Writing and Rhetoric program at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
