The Geneva Reads Book Fest celebrates children's books and the joy of family reading in its 2nd Annual Children's Book Fest on May 1st at the Geneva Community Center from 12 - 3 p.m.
James McBride Speaks April 5 at Albright Auditorium on HWS Campus
James McBride, author of the international bestseller The Color of Water, speaks on Monday, April 5, at the Albright Auditorium on the Hobart & William Smith Campus. Mr. McBride’s talk begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Book Basket Raffle at Library and Geneva Reads Book Fest
Half of the once reliable library fund raiser and community event, Storybook Brunch Basket Raffle, returns to Geneva as part of this year's Book Fest on May 1, 2010. But raffle tickets can be purchased now and used for any of the 60 baskets that are now on display in the Children's Room at the Geneva Public Library.

Friends & Volunteers Set-up Annual March Book Sale
The Friends of the Geneva Public Library have completed their drive for books and have begun setting up its 2010 Annual Book Sale in the library community room, which is scheduled to begin Thursday, March 4, and run through to Sunday March 7.

Book Discussion Series Begins in February 2010
Beginning in February of 2010, the Library will again host the popular Reading Between the Lines book discussion series. "Immigration and the Idea of America" will be facilitated by Dr. Neeta Bhasin, Assistant Professor in the Writing and Rhetoric program at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
