Thank you for considering the Geneva Public Library as a proctoring site. We are pleased to offer these services with the following conditions:
If these conditions meet your requirements, please proceed to the following questionnaire to help us understand your specific needs and get your exam scheduled.
- Availability: Proctoring is available from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Saturdays during library hours may be negotiable. Requests must be made at least 10 business days in advance of your anticipated testing date.
- Cost: This service is provided free of charge.
- Proctoring Conditions: While our staff will not be able to sit in the room with the student during the test, the proctoring room is located on the reference floor where both the door and the student inside can be monitored by our staff.
- Required Items: Students must bring their photo ID, a pencil, scrap paper, and a simple calculator. All personal items will be kept in the Reference Office while the student is taking the exam.
- Partner Companies: We work with companies such as CE Shop, Aceable, Manfred, and others. If we have not worked with your company before, simply provide us with the contact information we need to get the proctor codes in ample time to be ready for your exam.
- Equipment: Students usually bring their own laptops, but the library has equipment that may be borrowed if arranged ahead of time.
